A maintenance project to renew the Olin terrace was completed in 2021. Improved safety and accessibility, and maintaining a weather-tight facility were the primary goals of the project. The construction included replacement of the entire roof over the first floor surrounding the stack tower, installation of code-compliant guardrails along the terrace walkway, and replacement of the exterior stairs that lead up to the terrace from the main entrance. Additionally, an accessibility ramp replaced the stairs on the east side of the raised terrace podium.

Construction commenced in early August of 2019 and was substantially completed in December 2021.
