Master Naturalist Volunteer Trainings
The annual training to become a New York Master Naturalist Volunteer usually takes place in September. This year’s training (2025) is full but please check our website next June when the application for the 2026 training will be open and posted.

Regional Gatherings
For many of you, there are other Master Naturalist volunteers living and volunteering near you whom you have never had a chance to meet. We would like to change that and encourage formation of some regional “teams” to give you networking opportunities and encourage you to work together on projects. So far, I have volunteers in Madison and Saratoga counties who have expressed interest in organizing informal get-togethers to bring volunteers together for a few hours or a full day. To see if there are other MN in your area, visit our county Master Naturalist map. If you are interested in putting together a similar opportunity in your area, please get in touch with me (kls20@cornell.edu). In the meantime, watch for announcements of regional gatherings.
