NY Master Naturalists donated 1,700 hours of volunteer time and completed over 900 hours of continuing education in 2017.
They also affected 47,956 acres of land and shared their knowledge of the natural world with 119,000 people in their communities in 2017!

Master Naturalist Volunteer Trainings
The annual training to become a New York Master Naturalist Volunteer usually takes place in September. This year’s training (2025) is full but please check our website next June when the application for the 2026 training will be open and posted.
