The North Country regional field crops and soils specialists have published a new Ear to the Ground bulletin with some time-sensitive crop management reminders and updates. Included in this edition are a weather and drought update; guidance on spider mites, western bean cutworm and armyworm pests recently found around NNY; and reminders about late season summer annual toxicity risks and fall management of glyphosate-resistant marestail confirmed so far in Jefferson and St. Lawrence counties.
