Included in this edition are a weather and drought update; guidance on spider mites, western bean cutworm and armyworm pests recently found around NNY; and reminders about late season summer annual toxicity risks and fall management of glyphosate-resistant marestail confirmed so far in Jefferson and St. Lawrence counties.
Also, please be aware that corn and soybean yield contest entries are due by August 30. Details may be found at the NY Corn & Soybean Growers Association page, here.
