2025 Conference Information

Dates

The 2025 NETFIPM Conference will be held in Northampton, MA on October 21-22, 2025. Updates will be shared via the NETFIPM email list early in the fall of 2025.

Location

The 2025 NETFIPM Conference will be held a the Hotel Northampton, https://www.hotelnorthampton.com/, 36 King St, Northampton, MA 01060. A room block will be available early next fall.

This is in the heart of down town Northampton. Parking is free and easily accessible behind the hotel. There are many easily walkable options for breaks, coffee, meals, and getting around town.

Agenda

Day 1 will begin with the Call of the States, please bring photos or figures that you would like to share during this informal discussion.

This will be followed by research and extension presentations submitted by working group members. Presentations are typically either 15 (standard) or 5 (lightning) minutes in length. We encourage student participation. Please look for

Posters may be submitted for display in the meeting room throughout the conference. We will have an official poster session and mixer after dinner on Day 1.

Meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) will be held in the conference meeting room on the first day.

Day 2 will include presentations, typically ending before lunch.

Scholarship funding is available for the 2025 conference. If you are a new specialists or returning veteran (retired/emeritus) in need of support to attend the conference, please let us know. We will be requesting applications for scholarship funding early in the fall of 2025.

Funding

In 2024 and 2025 the NETFIPM Working Group and this conference were partially supported by a NE IPM Center Partnership Grant – Continued Next-Generation Support for the Northeast Tree Fruit IPM Working Group. In 2024, funding was used to help offset costs of the meeting and enabled over $4,000 in scholarship funding to support the participation of new specialists and returning veterans (retired/emeritus).
