- Self-Assessment: Self-reflection on one’s achievement in English
| I feel that I have improved significantly in my writing this semester. That was the area that I felt the weakest in and so I’m excited about my improvement. The one-on-one reviews of my essays were incredibly helpful and highlighted a lot of mistakes that I make over and over. Among these mistakes are errors I make in spacing. Learning that particles attach to nouns and that there are spaces between verbs and any word that follows them was very helpful. I also learned that I need to be more careful with my spelling as there are many mistakes I made where I know how to spell the word correctly but simply didn’t write carefully enough. Lastly, I need to be careful with 은/는 and 이/가. That was one of my most common mistakes and will require more practice and careful attention to make sure I know which to use where.
