Welcome to my research page!
I am a Postdoctoral Associate in the DiStasio Group at Cornell University. I completed my Ph.D. under the guidance of John M. Herbert at The Ohio State University. I received my B.S. and M.S. degrees in chemistry from National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan working with Chin-hui Yu.
My research interests are broadly related to molecular quantum mechanics and electronic structure, efficient computational algorithms, intermolecular interactions, condensed-phase electronic structure, molecular crystal modeling, protein-ligand interactions, computational materials design, high-level modeling of response properties, etc.
In the coming fall, I will start my independent research in theoretical and computational chemistry at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Please see my new research group web page (https://kaunlaolab.com/).
