Prisoner’s Dilemma and with Romantic Ties

This article is about the problems with love and the feeling of shyness around people trying to discuss their feelings.
One area of study I am profoundly interested in is sociology. Sociology is the study of our society. There are a multitude of areas within the study of sociology the contains examples of the Prisoner’s Dilemma. One subject that is close to many young adults (mainly college students) is the topic of Love. Many of us leave home from college to get a degree and, just maybe, to find a future spouse. One of the hardest subjects to bring up to a crush is asking them out.
This is where the the prisoner’s game comes into play. It is comprised of a couple lets just say Person A and Person B. Each can either tell each other their feelings or they can be quite about it. If one says their feelings and the other is quite you risk being in an awkward situation. If you both tell each other your feelings than you fall for each other. If you are both quite then nothing happens. The dominant strategy in this situation is too stay quite because of the fear of being awkward. This weird too think about but, as we learned in class, the best outcome is usually never the dominant theory.
