This articles talks about Apple’s tax avoiding scheme, which, by setting their base at Irish, they somehow manage to pay taxes to neither Ireland nor the United States. The author eventually argues that Ireland’s relationship with Apples is an unnatural one, and claims that Irish economy would benefit further if they decide to develop a more healthy economy on their own, as they are recently suffering in an economic crisis.

In the article, there are three key players in the general picture: the Irish Government, Apple, and U.S. government. Apple and Irish government form a positive relationship, in which Apple get exempt from taxes while the Irish benefits economically, though might be unhealthily, from jobs and resources that Apple creates and brings to the country. On the other hand, the US government forms a negative relationship with both these players since they conspire together to steal the taxes that US is supposed to gain, thus forming a relation triangle with exactly one positive relation, and thus a stable one.
