Apple and its choice of products
Most people would agree that Apple has had several hits. For instance, the introduction of Apple computers, iPods,iPhones, iPads, and many more, has generally been a huge success for Apple. Looking closely at the Apple’s iPod collection, it started out with the iPod Classic. Ipod classic has attracted many around the world with its sleek design and its ability to hold thousands of songs. Recently for many years, the success of iPod classics has led encouraged Apple to continue to create better products, with the hope of success in the market.
However, recently as an overwhelming number of people began to buy iPhones, with less people buying the iPod classics, Apple has hinted that it may decide to discontinue to manufacture iPods classics and iPods Shuffle. Explanations as to why Apple may want to discontinue to manufacture these products may be Apple’s realization of the fact that it is not as popular as it has used to be. This shows that Apple has considered to use the concepts of marketing in making its decisions of Apple’s product line.
