Cornell Master of Public Health program now accepting applications

Cornell University is now accepting applications for the Master of Public Health program!

  • Cornell University is an Ivy League university, founded upon a commitment to bridge academic discovery and understanding with the impact of literally changing the world.
  • Our new and innovative Master of Public Health program is distinguished by the theme of “One Health” or “Planetary Health” which acknowledges that human health simply cannot be separated from the health of animals and our environment.
  • Our intensive MPH program pairs small classes with over 70 faculty experts from complementary public health fields across 10 Cornell Colleges and Schools to teach the knowledge and skills necessary o approach emerging public health challenges.
  • Utilizing our vast community networks, and public engagement initiatives, students will be mentored to excel in the core competency areas of public health and leadership.
  • Our graduates will have a breadth public health competence, and a depth of knowledge and skill in their concentration area: either Infectious Disease Epidemiology or Food Systems for Health.

Here is what you can expect while you are at Cornell earning your MPH:

  • Small class sizes: Maximum of 20 students per concentration
  • Trans-disciplinary, case-based learning: Sharing the table with peers of diverse educational, occupational, geographic, and experiential backgrounds, being tutored by experts from complementary fields.
  • Integrated local and global community engagement: Learning by doing, locally or around the world, including the world being brought into the classroom, and engaging in action-oriented practicums that are tailored to you and your interests.
