Lineberger becomes head of Texas A&M horticulture department – again [AgriLife Today 7/30/2012] – Dr. Dan Lineberger, who was Texas A&M University head of horticultural sciences from 1990-94, will return to that position on Aug. 1. He earned a bachelor’s degree in ornamental horticulture from North Carolina State University in 1971, and his master’s in 1974 and doctorate in 1978, both in ornamental horticulture and floriculture from Cornell University.
