New journal: The Journal of the Civil War Era

The University of North Carolina Press, in association with the Richards Civil War Era Center at The Pennsylvania State University, have started publication of a new journal, The Journal of the Civil War Era.  It has been designated the official journal of the Society of Civil War Historians.

Vol. 1, no. 1 is housed in the Current Periodical Reading Room in Olin Library.  It is also available electronically through Project Muse.
