Digital Grants Program for Cornell Faculty
Is there something that would aid your teaching or research if it were in digital form? Dean Lepage has just announced the 2011 Grants Program for Digital Collections in Arts and Sciences. You don’t need any technical expertise – just a good idea. Just send a brief email by 4 February that expresses initial interest and provides a brief description of the material you would like to see digitized. Include what document types (photographs, monographs, manuscripts, slides, etc.) are in the collection and its estimated size. Library staff will then work with you to work out the details.
More information on the program’s goals, selection criteria, process, and timelines can be found on the grants program wiki.
