Upcoming Olin changes
Some of the upcoming changes necessitated by the Olin Fire Safety project may have an impact on historians:
- The periodical room will be relocated to the Willis Room in Uris Library on Jan. 26th and the space will be closed to the public until early April.
- The 4th floor will close to the public on 3/9. Call numbers G-H will become inaccessible to the public and will be paged by request (items will be available after 5 pm on the next business day). Graduate reading rooms for Government (405), Medieval Studies (404), Senior seminar room (403) and Sociology, Anthropology, and Economics (401) will close to the public but their collections will be relocated to the basement of Olin. Copy machines on the 4th floor will be unavailable. (There are copy machines in the basement).Graduate carrels and faculty studies on the 4th floor will become inaccessible to the public and occupants will be relocated as space permits. Expected re-opening of the 4th floor: end of April-early May.
