In 2016-2017 Jansen’s Dining Room serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner on weekdays and brunch and dinner on weekends. Please come enjoy a meal with our students. Dining hours and menus are available on the Cornell Dining website.
Guidelines for house fellow dining privileges
Each Bethe House Fellow has unlimited meals (including guest meals) within West Campus House System Dining Rooms. Your Cornell ID is your meal card; the door checker will swipe your ID to admit you and your guests to the dining room.
- The dining privilege is intended for your use when you are dining with students.
- When a student or other guest comes with you for a meal, the guest will be asked to swipe his/her Cornell ID if they have a Cornell meal plan. If the guest or student (all House System students have a mandatory meal plan) does not have a meal plan, s/he may be asked to sign his/her name on a sign-in sheet with your name and ID number. Our dining unit door checkers will help you with this process.
- Please keep groups to a manageable size for discussion. A maximum of 8 guests are permitted at each meal.
- You are welcome to bring family members to meals with students.
- Because the meal plan is subsidized by current undergraduate meal plan participants, we ask that you use your dining privileges with students primarily for students who live in Bethe House.
Terms and Conditions of Meal Plan Usage in House Dining Rooms
- You must bring your ID card in order to be served in any dining room. Your ID card cannot be used by others to gain access to the dining room.
- The food you select must be eaten in the dining area; you may not take anything out except one piece of fruit or one dessert item per meal.
- No animals except service dogs are permitted in the dining rooms.
- Cornell Dining is not responsible for personal belongings left in the dining room.
