At this point in the season, every type of preventative measure has been taken, and the only line of defense left is if Botrytis appears in the vineyard at this point. It is possible for apply one more spray for it if necessary.However, if there are no signs of Botrytis, and the grower has taken all of the preventative measures for controlling the disease and the weather conditions do not show a period of very warm, wet weather approaching, no additional Botrytis spray is necessary at this point. It is, of course, helpful to continue monitoring the weather, and continue scouting for diseases and insects from now until harvest.
