Gayatri Anil is a dual DVM/PhD student who participated in the Cornell Veterinary Investigators Program. Gayatri worked on development of a diagnostic PCR assay for Salmonella Dublin, an emerging threat to animal and public health. Amy Richardson is a DVM student who participated in the Veterinary Leadership Program. Amy studied the cutaneous microbiome of northern elephant seals and compared skin swabs of healthy and alopecia-affected sites.
