Thank you to all attendees for making this a successful event! Please take a moment to complete our feedback survey to let us know what worked and what could be improved in the future.
The Genome Instability, Repair and Editing intercampus symposium covers a range of exciting topics, from basic mechanisms of genome maintenance and links to cancer, to computational analyses of genome integrity and replication. The symposium will also expand into CRISPR-based genome editing, a topic that requires deep understanding of DNA repair mechanisms and their regulation. Overall, the program blends fundamental and emerging themes that are central to biomedical research and are therefore considered high-priority within the vision of the NIH.
We are excited with the prospect of bringing different inter-campus groups together, which will allow us to identify novel avenues for collaborative projects that could further advance the science and lead to successful external funding. This symposium will be an outstanding opportunity to leverage the strengths of different research groups from both WCM and Ithaca campuses.
We look forward to welcoming you in June!
