FLGP is Hiring!!

The Finger Lakes Grape Program is now accepting applications for our Viticulture Extension Aide position (previously held by Don Caldwell). The posting will be open until Saturday, May 10, 2025. Position Summary: Under the supervision and direction of the Team Leader, provide technical and program support for field research and demonstration projects carried out by the Finger Lakes Grape Program (FLGP). This includes project set-up, data collection, and data entry. Assist in developing and delivering programs to communicate research results from projects conducted by the FLGP and other Cornell faculty and extension personnel, including helping to develop presentation materials, making local arrangements, publicity and record keeping. Assist in maintaining the Finger Lakes Teaching and Demonstration Vineyard in Dresden, New York. Assist with communications for new and small-scale grape growers. Must be able to work independently on assigned tasks and projects in order to meet the goals and objectives of the Finger Lakes Grape Program.

This is a full-time position (39 hours/week) and is based at CCE-Yates County in Penn Yan, NY.
