Dr. Fronda earned both his master’s and doctorate degrees from Cornell University. He earned his master’s degree in 1920 and he earned his doctorate in 1922; both degrees were in animal husbandry. He was one of the first five people in the world to earn a degree in Poultry Science. Dr. Fronda was named “Father of Poultry Science in the Philippines.” He was also named National Scientist by the Philippine Government.
