Registration Open for Cornell Fall Tax Schools

The In-Depth Two-Day Tax conferences will be offered live, on-line, on November 9 through 12th.  Dario Arezzo, Norman Provvidenza, and I will be your teaching team, and we are looking forward to being with you – even if we can’t see you!   The National Income Tax Workbook as well as our New York Income Tax publication used during the course will be available for digital download.  A paper copy of the Workbook can be pre-ordered to be shipped directly to you by the printer at a cost of $25.00.  (You can do this when registering.)

During the four days of on-line teaching, the material will be presented in four-hour modules.  You will have great flexibility in choosing the days you would like to attend and whether afternoon or morning is better for you.  When you register (see link below) you will choose your four modules (labeled A, B, C, and D), which will create your Agenda.  Yes, this is different!  But isn’t everything these days?  Hopefully next year we will be back to cookies and coffee and battling the extreme temperatures in our meeting rooms!

The reason for the module approach came out of the survey results, which had even numbers of people wanting two full days or four full mornings or four full afternoons.  This will satisfy all those desires!  The earlier you sign up the more likely there will be space in all the modules.  There will be a cap on the number allowed in each module so that there will be ample time for attendees to raise questions during the program.

The cost for this year’s program is $450; by registering and paying prior to September 15, you will receive the Early Bird pricing of $375.

In recognition of the upset to life that COVID-19 has been, we are also providing two hours of IRS ethics to registered attendees at no extra cost.  This live, on-line session will be taught on Friday, November 13, by the In-Depth teaching team.  When you register, you will need to indicate if you’re attending this Ethics session.

For a list of topics to be covered during the program, please click on the link below. The split of topics among the modules will be determined when the national tax workbook is completed – but all will be covered with an emphasis on new legislation and other recent developments.

Stay cool; stay calm; “see” you soon!
