There are several good reviews of culturing requirements for Drosophila species. Throckmorton (1975) lists media required by most of the species in the stock center. Markow and O’Grady (2005) also include detailed information on how to culture a variety of species.
This page is currently under construction but we will be updating it over the coming months to have group-specific culturing information. When in doubt, please email us at drosophila@cornell.edu.
