Videos – Dr. Bettina Bock explores issues of marginalization for rural communities

In Spring 2019, The Polson Institute for Global Development continued their Visiting Faculty Program into it’s third year by bringing Rural Sociologist, Bettina Bock of Wageningen University, to Ithaca. She taught a six-week course for graduate students on “Inclusive Rural Development”, touching on issues including urban-rural interconnections, rural marginalization, and representative pathways to rural development.

We sat down with Dr. Bock to discuss some of the key concepts of the course and produced the following videos.
