Ithaca Incubator Farm, New York State‚Äôs first incubator farm, works with people from historically marginalized communities such as New Americans, people of color, individuals with disabilities, women farmers, and refugees and immigrants. The incubator farm is at full capacity and is planning to expand the current 6-acres of farm land into 10 acres. The team’s goals are to create a comprehensive master plan that integrates existing incubator farmer plots and infrastructure with the new addition, and to design an expansion to the existing farm with additional spaces for classroom, greenhouses, public events, perennial agriculture, and animals.
