Design Connect is a multi-disciplinary student run organization that partners with local municipalities and nonprofits to provide design and planning services to communities in upstate New York. Design Connect strives to empower both students and citizens alike to engage in local design and planning processes by facilitating collaborative, democratic, and sustainable projects. Design Connect aims to use community-engaged practices as a means to build awareness of the potential design and planning have to positively impact communities.
