In its 3rd year, the Annual CRP Poster Competition took place last month, during the first virtual Open House for admitted students. The Department received twelve entries, coming from students in the regional planning, the urban and regional studies, and regional science programs.
This year’s entries covered a variety of planning topics, comprising of student work from past Department workshop courses, independent submissions for external competitions, and exit projects.
Results:
1st Place: Ulanbaatar Air Pollution Crisis: Climate Mitigation Plan, Kania Thea Pradipta (M.R.P. ’21)
Runner up: Re-imaging a Historic Neighborhood in Midtown Cleveland, Rewa Phansalkar (M.R.P. ’21)
Runner up: MUKTI Public Toilet, an Emancipatory Experience, Anthea Fernandes (M.R.P. ’21)
Honorable Mention: Midtown Creatives’ Cooperative, Gianni Valenti (B.S. URS / B.S.L.A. ’22)
People’s Choice: Changing Course, Quinn Kelly (B.S. URS ’14, M.R.P. ’21)
All poster entries will be exhibited in person in the West Sibley Exhibitation Space in fall 2021.
