Khyati Rathore MRP ’19 Featured on Aspiring Altruists Podcast

CRP alumna Khyati Rathore (M.R.P. ’19) is featured on the April 14th episode of the Aspiring Altruists podcast. In the podcast, she shares her work as the special projects manager for Defend our Future, a non-profit and non-partisan organization focused on empowering young people across all political persuasions to advance environmental justice and clean energy and climate solutions globally. Her work aims to enable system change concerning climate action through policy advocacy.

Rathore additionally shares her personal and professional trajectory in sustainability, discussing her previous background in architecture, reflecting on growing up in India, and how pursuing graduate studies in planning at Cornell has drawn her towards working on policy, climate advocacy, amongst other strategies. She also shares her involvement in other governmental and non-profit capacities, including her work at the United Nations.

Aspiring Altruists is a podcast series by Adam Sickle that shares stories of young professionals in a variety of non-profit settings working to change the world. His podcast is available to listen to through all podcast streaming services.
