The Cornell Vet CARES Community Cat Clinic had another successful year!
High-quality, high-volume spay and neuter (HQHVSN) clinics took place from March 2021-November 2021, where registration reached capacity each time. Clinics were open at no-cost to clients with a Cornell Net ID, who brought free-roaming, outdoor cats. The following statistics were captured:
- 201 cats were altered
- 175 rabies vaccines administered
- 187 FVRCP vaccines administered
- 12 pregnancies
- 112 ear notches performed
Services were performed by faculty, interns, staff and students of the Maddie’s Shelter Medicine Program at Cornell.
Funding for these clinics is made possible by the Cornell Feline Health Center. HQHVSN clinics are expected to resume in Spring 2022.
