Please save the date for SAVMA Auction 2021!
The SAVMA Auction brings together students from every class, faculty, interns, residents, alumni, and community members and is one of the largest vet school events of the Fall! Proceeds from the Auction offsets the cost of veterinary-related experiences that enhance the veterinary toolkit of Cornell veterinary students via the SAVMA Travel Fund.
This year, a virtual silent auction will take place from November 1st through November 5th and culminates in a live auction beginning November 5th at 7PM.

What is SAVMA Auction?
SAVMA Auction includes a live and silent auction, which is one of our biggest events of the year – bringing together students from every class, faculty, interns, residents, alumni, and community members! Money raised helps Cornell students to cover the cost of any approved veterinary-related experience. It’s a great opportunity to get to know your peers outside of the classroom setting and make memories that will last a lifetime!
Silent Auction
Leading up to our main event, we will have a week-long online silent auction, featuring items and experiences from a variety of businesses in Ithaca and the surrounding areas! It also features items from Cornell’s talented student body such as professional pet photography and custom scrub tops/caps! You name it. We’ve got it!
Live Auction
If you’ve ever caught yourself wishing you could gain valuable experiences with faculty outside of the classroom setting, then the live auction is for you! During the online live auction, a variety of experiences with faculty are offered! Additionally, there are some one of a kind items offered that you don’t want to miss!

Gift cards (spa, restaurants, grooming, etc.), veterinary-medicine related (suture board, stethoscope, hand books/formularies, scrub sets), technology (Amazon Echo, wireless headphones, etc.), pet supplies (dog/cat food, pet carriers, pet beds), skills/social (horseback riding lessons, photoshoot, guided birdwatching, etc.), misc. (travel mugs, wine, household/garden items, handcrafted soaps, services, etc.)
