Classic texts
With a winter storm headed our way it seems a good time to hole up with the classics.
The classic text is I.U.B. Symposium Series Volume 20.
This report was produced by a committee with the following mandate:
“To consider the classification and nomenclature of enzymes and coenzymes, their units of activity and standard methods of assay, together with the symbols used in the description of enzyme kinetics”
A great example of group collaboration, I highly recommend this volume as a terrific concise introduction to the study of enzymes.
Do only nerds like myself read this stuff?
