Taking the new centrifuge for a spin

Our new tabletop is here, Eppendorf model 5706. So far, it’s quiet, unobtrusive with a small footprint, rapid acceleration and automatic lid lifting. A terrific addition to the lab.

The buckets contain adapters to accommodate tubes of various sizes.adapters centrifuge


One very nifty feature is on the control panel, centrifuge runs can be programed in RPM or RCF. Just press a button to learn the RCF for a particular RPM setting.
