Bus transportation and Hotel accommodations are available for Cornell travelers from NYC.

Bus

The bus will depart from 1300 York Avenue on the Corner of 69th Street promptly at 6:00 am.

Expected arrival on Cornell’s University’s Ithaca campus is 11:00 am on Tower Road in front of the Takoda’s Run Atrium at the College of Veterinary Medicine.

The bus will not depart for the hotel until 8:00 pm, so please come prepared to spend the day on campus. Luggage storage is available both on the bus or in the Hagan Room, adjacent to the Atrium.

Bus transportation is being provided by Swarthout Coaches.

Rooms will be assigned to registered participants who submit their request in their registration. Single and double occupancy are both available, please be sure to let us know if you have any specific accommodation needs or requests. The complete confirmation list was sent to registrants Friday, August 25, 2023.

Room charges, taxes, and standard fees will be covered by the symposium. Incidentals will be the responsibility of the guest.

Meals

Meals and snacks will be provided by the symposium and the menus will be available here. If you have any specific dietary needs, please be sure to include those in your registration.

If you are staying overnight and would like to explore other options, Monks on the Commons is available in the Ithaca Marriott and Downtown Ithaca has many other options within convenient walking distance to explore.
