Focus: Food Security

Gregarious, Elizabeth likes asking questions almost as much as she likes finding innovative solutions.  She joins CIPA as a first year fellow and is currently digging up coursework in economics, food policy and nutrition, as she aspires to help solve policy problems related to food insecurity through evidence-based actions.

Prior to joining CIPA, Elizabeth completed a Fulbright Fellowship in Minas Gerais, Brazil. Elizabeth has spent a couple years working in Public Policy research in Toronto as well as working as a Data Analysis Instructor. She has also held internship position at the Woodrow Wilson Center for International Scholars, the Canadian Centre for Responsibility to Protect, and volunteered with Oxfam Canada.

Elizabeth holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from the University of Toronto where she double majored in Political Science and Spanish and minored in Portuguese.

Anlly Palacios is a first-generation and Latina student in the Master of Public Administration program at Cornell University. She is originally from Queens, New York and completed her undergraduate studies at Binghamton University. Her favorite things to do during her free time is watching movies and going for long drives.
