The last two weeks, my team and I were very focused on our condensed PASTA programming for caregivers and youth. Now that the meetings are complete, this week I was back to expanding the curriculum. The last two weeks were crucial in giving me a sense of how the curriculum would look in action. When I was in the office, my team members gave me a book of activities for youth. This week, I reviewed them and started implementing some into the program. When researching about mindfulness and mental health techniques, it is sometimes difficult to find concepts that can be applicable and helpful for young people. The book of activities was very helpful for this! What I love about the pages shown below is that they can be used for kids, but can also be used at any age. I love the idea of everyone in the kinship family benefitting from the workshop!
