This was the last official week of my internship! Emily and I worked together to finish the tick distribution map, and we merged the data from 2021 and 2022 to show the findings from both years on one map. Here is the final map!

I’m so glad I got the opportunity to work on this year’s Tick Blitz! It was the most fulfilling summer I’ve ever had, and I feel like I learned so much about tick biology and physiology, as well as data management and organization. The people I got to work with were so friendly and happy to teach, and everyone in the lab made me feel welcome. Thank you Dr. Harrington and Emily Mader for guiding and teaching me throughout this project!
