Welcome back everyone! Today will be the final time I’m updating this blog for the summer. It feels slightly bittersweet thinking about everything I have done over the summer. It’s been quite a journey and learning experience that I will value and take with me in the future. This week, I unfortunately got COVID-19, so I had to work and present remotely. For the first time, the CHE-NYC program decided to have students collectively present what they have worked on over the summer. I actually have a hard time public speaking at times, but it was still a thoroughly enjoyable experience. It was quite interesting listening to the types of research and projects the other students were working on this summer. This experience also allowed me to practice and prepare for the poster and presentation I have to work on eventually for the CCE program later in the school year. I am extremely grateful for the chance to work with Monica on the GLTTP program, and learned so much on how children development. I am so glad that I had this opportunity to fully immerse myself in the NYC culture, and work with Professor Casasola as well. I will take this summer with me everywhere I go, and use the skills and content I learned in my own life. Until next time, everybody, goodbye!
