This week I had a lot of catching up to do on my kit profiles as I was very busy at Career ex. I have been working on filling out kit surveys for some of the kits that I have used in the past few weeks at Rensselaer county and on campus. I have also had a chance to fill out some surveys for kits that are at the Rensselaer office. I have sent out a bunch of new kit Profiles and am waiting to get a filled out one back. I am very excited to be making really good progress on these Kit profiles. One of the kits that I did the profile for was the New York State giant map that I worked with last week. This is a great kit to make the profile for as there are a bunch of different ways to use this map depending on how many youth are using the kit and how that kit is fitting into a broader curriculum. One of the activities that that we did at Career ex was placing a cone on the town they are from and then moving the cone to a place that they would like to visit. This group was very interested in visiting NYC as many of them were from Western NY and had never had a chance to visit NYC.
