R + Tabling
This week we had a good amount of rain, making it difficult to sample. We spent some time searching for more properties to recruit. On Tuesday, I attended an R & Stats workshop hosted by the CBFS. We went over how to visualize data using ggplot2, as well as other useful data organization functions.
On Thursday, the team attended a tabling event for the EV Charger Ribbon-Cutting ceremony at Northern Onondaga Public Library. This was a great opportunity to answer any questions community members had about ticks or the study. We also were able to recruit several eligible properties from this event.
So far there has been a greater amount of rain than expected, hindering our ability to sample frequently. We hope the weather will clear up soon!
