Selection timeline:
March 1, 2025 | Program application process is closed and project teams review applicant submissions for the interview process
April 1, 2025 | Final candidates are selected and unsuccessful applicants are notified
Selection Roles:
- What does Extension Administration do?
- Following the closing of the application deadline, we will:
- Package and provide all project applications and supplemental materials in a Box folder
- Consult with you regarding the extension of the application process if a suitable applicant pool has not been achieved
- What will you do?
- Review applications
- Invite qualified candidates to interview
- Offer internship to candidates (verbal/written)
- Notify all candidates that a candidate has been selected
- Communication is Key!
- We highly recommend doing interviews as soon as possible so that you can hire the best candidate before they accept another summer position
- Once you have selected your intern and they have accepted, please notify Extension Administration (Alyssa Dray – aad78) so that we may complete necessary paperwork with the student
- Don’t forget to notify all candidates to let them know a final selection has been made
