Karl J. Siebert, Brewing Program Director

After receiving a Ph.D. in biochemistry from Penn State, Dr. Siebert joined the Stroh Brewery Company in Detroit, where he spent 18 years and held positions from Research Associate to Director of Research. In 1990 he joined Cornell as Professor in the Food Science & Technology Dept. at the Agricultural Experiment Station in Geneva, NY. He continues to work on beverages, mainly beer, and is involved in teaching, research and extension.
