Technical Specifications

The Thermo Fisher Attune NxT is a compact, efficient, and flexible benchtop analyzer that utilizes acoustic-assisted hydrodynamic focusing. This enables faster sample throughput rates and minimizes clogs, and allows a broad range of cell and sample types. In addition, the Attune NxT has a positive-displacement syringe pump system for sample delivery, allowing volumetric analysis. The Attune NxT software is intuitive and easy to learn, and prompts users with step-by-step instructions for cleaning cycles and shutdown procedures. With the autosampler attachment and optional passive cooling system, the Attune can run large numbers of low volume samples in plate format.

Saving Your Data

Users are given access to a fileshare drive to save data after being trained on the instrument. You can save your data as experiment files, FCS files, and PDFs.

Experiment File:

1.Right-click the experiment name -> Export -> Experiment (plate experiments will say Plate)
2. Save to This PC -> FlowCyto Share X:\ drive -> Your folder -> Create new folder with today’s date.
For tube experiment, this will be .atx, for plate experiments this will be .apx file.

FCS Files:

1. Right-click the experiment name -> Export -> FCS files.
2. Save to This PC -> FlowCyto Share X:\ drive under your folder.
3. If a popup message asks if you want to Update Keywords, we do recommend selecting the
checkbox at the bottom to select all, then choose Update Keywords.

PDFs:

1. Tube experiments: Right-click the experiment name -> Print.
Plate experiments: Right-click the Group name -> Print
2. Select what workspace(s) to print -> OK -> OK
3. Save to This PC -> FlowCyto Share X:\, your folder, Save.

Don’t forget: Saving your data is your responsibility. We regularly delete experiments from our instrument’s computers to free up memory.
