Cornell Cooperative Extension of Albany County and The Capital Area Agriculture & Horticulture Program announce their upcoming event, the annual Capital Region Bedding Plant Conference, to be held on January 11, 2018, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. A series of presentations will include greenhouse pest and disease management and control, plant root zone monitoring and minimizing the impact of horticultural pesticides on wild and domesticated bees. Vendors will be available for conference participants to visit at several points during the day.
The Capital Region Bedding Plant Conference has been well-attended and popular with nurserymen, greenhouse operators and other horticulture professionals in past years and promises to be so again this year! This will be the first year the conference is held at the Hilton Garden Inn, 235 Hoosick St., Troy, NY 12180.
Admission to the Bedding Plant Conference is $45.00 per person if pre-registered, or $65.00 per person at the door.
