The group of students in the urban design studio have created a studio environment that is both collaborative supportive and rigorous. Working in groups has increased the momentum of what we are able to take in, absorb and produce. The landscape architects and planners have pushed each other to further develop skills both in design thinking and visualization, as well as the relevancy, feasibility and social and environmental impact of design. Working across disciplines has provided a supportive framework for urban design work which is becoming increasingly reliant on the intersection between the two fields.
