NEWA at Hudson Valley Fruit School

NEWA: What is it? How to use it as a pest management tool for grapes. Tim Weigle, Grape IPM Specialist, will present this talk tomorrow, Thursday afternoon, Feb 12, at the Grape Grower Session, Hudson Valley Winter Fruit School. The fruit school is happening right now at the Best Western Plus (formerly Garden Plaza Hotel of Kingston), 503 Washington Avenue, Kingston, NY.

SORRY! Settings prevented you from getting into the NEWA blog, but it’s now fixed. Thank you to all who helped me figure this out!

The NEWA blog!

Hello, everyone! Welcome to the NEWA blog. You’re NEWA! We’ll send you news about NEWA through this blog. For starters, we’re holding two workshops on how to maintain and troubleshoot your Rainwise weather station. One in Geneva, NY on February 19th and one in Highland, NY on February 24th. Details in tomorrow’s blog.

If you own a weather station connected to NEWA, are a contact for a weather station, develop forecast models for NEWA, educate farmers about weather impacts on crops, coordinate NEWA in one of our partners states–Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Vermont–you’ve been subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Tell other people about this blog who may be interested in subscribing to learn about new apps, workshops, presentations, upgrades, etc.

If you have any questions about NEWA, want to know about our weather-based apps for farmers, or have suggestions, please contact me at jec3@cornell.edu, or reply to the blog.

You are NEWA! NEWA keeps growing to keep you growing!
