Teaching another class for the Swedish Agricultural University today a lab at Kvarnby GK outside of Malmo, Sweden. This is a typical Swedish golf club with 1100 golfing members each paying 4600 swedish kronar ($600 US) per year. It was built in an abandon Limestone quarry in 1988, water pH 8.2, soil pH about 8.0. Here is the new clubhouse at the about to open PGA National Golf Club of Sweden outside Malmo in the south of Sweden. Met with the Supt. and some of the interns to discuss fine fescuce playing surfaces and especially putting greens.
