Designer Issey Miyake’s fall-winter 2010-11 ready-to-wear collection takes its inspiration from the work of Cornell mathematics professor William Thurston, whose Geometrization Conjecture – “a comprehensive vision of eight geometries that are sufficient to form an ideal shape for all possible three-dimensional topologies” – influences the collection.
