When the 4-H Saddle Club of Seneca County reached out to the Communities and Urban Forests Extension Program in the Department of Natural Resources to do a “natural resource conservation” activity, Keith Tidball, the program’s leader, connected them with the national 4-H Million Trees Initiative and with procuring a donation of trees from the Seneca County Soil and Water Conservation District.

The group planted more than 100 trees on Arbor Day, April 30.
