Curious television
Evolutionary biologist Dan Riskin, Ph.D. ’06, will host a TV series on the Discovery Channel called “Curiosity: The Questions of Life,” premiering in January. According to a press release, the show “will unite Discovery Channel viewers worldwide around some of life’s most enduring questions. Are we alone in the universe? Can we live forever, and do we want to? What is fear?” And Riskin will “seek answers to each question through experience, experimentation and his encounters with an array of the world’s leading experts.”
Riskin will join the faculty of the City University of New York in the fall, where he will serve with new CUNY president Lisa Staiano-Coico, Ph.D. ’81.
