New Options for the Geneva-Ithaca Trek

On Friday, April 30th from 12:00 noon to 1:00PM, representatives from Cornell Transportation and Mail Services will visit the Station to talk with current and prospective Geneva-Ithaca commuters about the University’s  VanPool program.  The meeting is part of an overall effort to close the distance between the two Cornell campuses and increase available options for those who commute between the two Finger Lakes cities in both directions.  VanPool offers seven and nine passenger vans to enrolled groups of at least five travelers, who choose a driver and organize their own their own routes and schedules.  Cornell provides subsidies to cover costs for university faculty, students and staff who participate in the program.  Join us for lunch on April 30 in Jordan Hall to learn how this innovative transportation option can simplify your Finger Lakes commuting for work and study.   More information to follow.
